The rich content of carbohydrate and protein makes it suitable for the production of adhesives and basic manufacturing process of adhesive includes tamarind kernel powder which is mixed with hot water 200%, glucose 5%, formalin 4%, and sodium carbonate 12% by weight. And resulted adhesive prepared said to have good strength qualities equal to that of commercially adhesive product.
